Ryerson Rams Curling
Joining the curling team during his second year at Ryerson, Jacob has spend countless hours working on his curling skills. He has also spent numerous hours providing leadership value to the team by taking on team building activities, team branding and community engagement by volunteer with the Toronto Cricket Skating and Curling Club’s Junior Curling program.
Ryerson ToastMasters
Joining Toastmasters in 2018, Jacob is working to improve his public speaking skills as well as leadership abilities. Currently active as a general member, he excels in actively engaging his audience, putting smiles on people’s faces and effortlessly get his point across.
Ryerson Central Orientation
Since 2015, Jacob has helped new incoming students engage in campus life at Ryerson. On a yearly basis, Jacob spends his time at the end of the summer semester leading and engaging new students to be active members on campus as well as providing expertise in audio visual and event leadership.
Community Engagement
Scouts Canada - 1st University Rover Crew
As a founding member and the Lead Rover of the 1st University Rover Crew, Jacob spends time engaging university aged youth in outdoor and community engagement activities. He encourages all the members to be positive role models in their respective communities and give back whenever they can!
Scouts Canada - 14th Willowdale
Being a long time member of the 14th Willowdale Scout group and the lead Rover, Jacob spends his time leading and engaging all the youth in the program to be active members of the community. He leads the Rover Crew and encourages them to give back to the group through volunteering with the younger sections.
